The Oracle Academy is primarily an academic-based institution and thus offers our learners a range of subjects that will enable them to attend a tertiary institution of their choice. It also allows learners to further their studies in any field they may wish to pursue.

The language of teaching and learning is in English and it is thus expected of all learners to be proficient in this language. The Oracle Academy is a registered academic institution with the Western Cape Education Department and as such, follows the CAPS Curriculum. In addition to the prescribed subject all grades must offer Islamic Studies.

GET PHASE – GRADES 8 & 9

The learner must offer and complete all ten subjects. In order to be promoted to the next grade a learner must meet the pass requirements as stipulated under promotion requirements.

FET PHASE – GRADES 10 – 12

In the FET phase learners must offers minimum of 7 subjects. The Oracle Academy offer the following subjects:

Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
Life Orientation
Islamic Studies *
Life Sciences OR Economics
Geography OR Accounting OR Computer Applications Technology
Physical Sciences OR Business Studies
Learners who show ability to cope with additional subjects may choose to do more than the seven required subjects, these include subjects not offered at our school.
